I took advantage of the break in the weather and the fine springlike conditions to perform my SOS Marsh Tit survey this morning. This took me to portions of Beeding Brooks and Bramber Brooks. The former had a
Cetti's Warbler, nine
Redwings, a couple of
Reed Buntings and
Meadow Pipits, while the latter offered two more
Cetti's Warblers, a singing
Chiffchaff and a drumming
Great Spotted Woodpecker, while
Goldcrest was also in song. But no Marsh Tits.
