West Worthing, High Barn and Cissbury Ring

Observatios at home included a Peregrine, a Blackcap, a Coal Tit and two Great Black-backed Gulls.

Passing through the High Barn Golf Course area on my way to Cissbury was productive, with my first Willow Warbler of the year heard singing and five Firecrests (potentially three territories) located. A Redwing, five Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs and a Yellowhammer were among the other birds there.

Cissbury itself delivered my first Wheatear of the year, a male, along with a Peregrine, 21 Meadow Pipits, five Yellowhammers, nine Skylarks and a Lesser Black-backed Gull.
