Goring Gap and West Worthing

A lovely morning at Goring Gap produced a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail, two Shelducks, 18 Sanderlings, 25 Turnstones, a Mediterranean Gull, a Pheasant, a Gannet, a Little Egret, seven Swallows, a Treecreeper and a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers feeding young.

At home in Worthing, at least four Swifts were overhead, which was reassuring as I haven't had a sniff of any round here for days.
