A stroll around the Gap paid off with a lovely
Spotted Flycatcher catching insects in the scrub in the northwest corner. Seven
Mediterranean Gulls (including a 2CY and a 3CY) moved west and seven
Swallows and two
Swifts went through. Five
Turnstones were on the beach. It was quiet otherwise, with nothing out of the ordinary recorded. A short seawatch mid-afternoon produced an
Arctic Skua, a
Bonxie, two
Great Crested Grebes, 83
Gannets and a
Sandwich Tern.
