Ashton's and Neumann's Flashes

Plan B was swiftly conjured up and engaged, so instead of Georgia, Ingrid and I headed north for a week with her family in Scotland. We stopped off at Ashton's Flash, where to my relief I located the 2cy male WEST SIBERIAN STONECHAT in our strict time limit. 63 Curlews, displaying Lapwing, a Cetti's Warbler and three male Reed Buntings in the car park were among the other birds noted.
