Red-crested Pochard
With time to spare and no reason not to I went on a bit of a tick and run today as I twitched the female
Red-crested Pochard at Beddington for my London list, viewing it through the fence for about 20 minutes before returning to my current patch for an evening check which yielded no surprises.

Also present at Beddington during my very brief stay were a
Green Sandpiper, a
Common Sandpiper, a couple of
Greenshanks and one or two juvenile
Shelduck.
