An early morning visit to Goring Gap produced a 2cy
Little Gull which struggled west into the wind over the beach before pitching down, but it then mysteriously vanished. Other observations included two
Willow Warblers, at least four
Mediterranean Gulls and 12
Sandwich Terns, 21
Sanderlings, 11
Turnstones, two
Lesser Black-backed Gulls, two
Gannets, three
Oystercatchers, three
Blackcaps and two
Chiffchaffs. Close encounters were had with
Stock Dove and
Jay in the Plantation.

Later, at West Tarring Allotments there were two silent
Willow Warblers.
