A walk at Highdown late afternoon was quiet, with three Yellowhammers, two Nuthatches, two Kestrels and a small handful each of Skylark, Blackcap and Chiffchaff. A pair of Green Woodpeckers yaffled loudly.

West Worthing and Highdown
Two Meadow Pipits, a Linnet and a Stock Dove flew over the garden. The Blackcap was in song and Jay and Coal Tit each paid a visit.
