I had time for a quick morning walk with Christian C at Beddington. Unfortunately, the Cattle Egret was nowhere to be seen but we did find the juvenile
Wood Sandpiper on Jim's Pit, along with around six
Green Sandpipers. Other highlights included a surprise first-summer
Caspian Gull ringed 'G0UT', seen quite a bit on the Thames recently by Josh J, as well as two
Little Egrets, a
Common Sandpiper, a couple of
House Martins and a few
Swifts still moving through...
